The rooms are a little old and as usual with KL older properties , maintainence is always an issue. But this prop is not old but the bathrooms shows her age . Anyways the major plus is the location n area this prop is located , nestled in refurbished old and original old prewar shop lots. It’s a good even blend where one could savour the vibrancy of the refurbished old n original state of old architecture n retail mix . I think it’s a brilliant mix of culture n movement with time . I sincerely hope they won’t tear down the old n rebuilt it into new architectural designs , tat would be a devastating blow to Msia culture. Hotel wise , pls do make the effort to maintain n retain so level of maintenance in ur rooms . Don’t wait till its falling apart to fix it , fix it wen there r discoloration, its a tell tale sign of co efforts to maintenance n engineering

The hotel is conveniently locates near a KL Rapid station and MTR station to sightseeing attractions. Staff are very courteous and friendly. Room is functional and very clean. Highly recommended for the first timer to Kuala Lumpur.

Definitely stay again in the future.
Check in and check out very smooth and staff were friendly and welcoming. Amazing hotel, breakfast was good. Rooftop, swimming pool must visit amazing views. Lovely atmosphere throughout. Hotel is about 20min walk to downtown which was lovely walk.

Everything you would expect from 5* - discrete and impeccable service, lovely rooftop pool and bar, decent breakfast. No more than 20 min walk to Petronas Towers - only minus, restaurant only open for evening meal Fri and Sat but plenty of options nearby.

The hotel was OK, but it shouldnt be advertised as 5 star, the sink is in the bedroom, the breakfast is worst than a 4 star hotel and also very complicated way of serving it. The coffee cups are bigger than the coffee machine usage. Breakfast staff comes to your table to ask you which room you arefrom, it makes u uncomfortable in front of people. There was no one at the desk at ghe breakfast place. Needs a lot of improvement to charge this high and be a 5 star.

Excellent hotel with great views from rooftop pool
Fantastic hotel in a nice part of KL. Lots of good restaurants nearby, we went to Black and White which was practically next door and Heritage Pizza, try Gavel for a craft beer beforehand. Staff at the hotel were very helpful, particularly Bokal at the breakfast buffet. Nice pool on the roof, get there early for the sun loungers though.

AMAZING HOTEL AND LOCATION
One of the best stays I’ve ever had, this Hotel was incredible, friendly and helpful staff (24/7), excellent location, close to market, restaurants on same street. And best of all THE POOL VIEW, ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING! I would absolutely stay here again!!

A Weekend Getaway @ The Stripes KL
Friendly and Polite Staff Clean Room and the Hotel overall is well-maintained Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a nice weekend getaway. The coffee machine was a treat! TV channels aren't great...but we were not there to watch TV! The Pool was small but clean. It's attached to the Bar that served small bites. For a city hotel, it was good enough. The Gym - very well-kept and clean. The only disappointing thing was dinner. We had booked dinner for 2 nights and only found out later that the menu for the 2 nights was the same shared platter for 2. So we decided to forego the 2nd night.
