We Loved Our Stay!
This was our second time at Silver Mill in River Run. We love the convenience to the lifts. Kid can get dressed and go skiing as soon as he is ready, and we can follow at a slower pace. We could head back to condo for lunch and rest before going out for nighttime skiing. This unit is a little larger and better laid out than the one we stayed in previously. It's more squared off than long and narrow. More room for clothes and gear which was nice. It's also on a corner so there are windows on 2 sides of unit. Kid slept on fold-out couch, mattress was comfy. We had an issue with bathtub handle and called property management. They had someone out to fix it the same day, very prompt resolution. The only downsides to the stay - first, one elevator was out of operation and from what we heard, has been that way for months. So long, long waits for elevator. The other issue with this unit is that it's at the front of the building next to road and parking lot. Mornings were very noisy with delivery trucks and shuttle buses, and in one case the snow plow clearing the parking lot. It would have been tough to sleep in. But that's the price you pay for being so close to all the action so we didn't mind too much.
