Disappointing stay
Check in was not smooth. The person checking me in didn't look like they'd showered in a few days. They also had trouble with the check in process, and at the end of it I had to ask what my room number was. Once I got up to my room, the front desk called me 3 times to confirm I was supposed to be in that room. I had to ask them to stop calling me. The TV kept shutting off when I was watching it, and resetting. The room was FREEZING even though the thermostat was set to 78.

It was nice to be able to see the Plaza lights. The place was very busy, people everywhere. Parking is across the street in a parking garage but they had valet parking so we took advantage of that. Rooms were nice and clean.

I booked this hotel specifically because it had an indoor pool, wasn’t working until I checked out. Room hvac system not working, too hot. Toilet seat old, not in good shape. Caulking around shower coming loose. Room 318. I did get moved to 619 where everything was working well. Breakfast area was ok, not really great. Location was great. Gym was good.

Our stay was enjoyable overall, and we plan to return. The evening front desk team and nighttime bartender provided impressive service, demonstrating their friendliness and professionalism. Nevertheless, some areas need improvement. The morning front desk worker's behavior was unacceptable, seeming rude and put off by tasks or requests, which raises concerns about her suitability for the role. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet was disappointing, with cold food at 7:30, likely due to inactive warmers. Meaning they was in warmers, but they didn’t work or wasn’t turned on. This fell short of our expectations, given the Hilton brand's reputation and associated costs. Although our experience was mostly satisfactory, it did not entirely meet our expectations for a Hilton hotel.
