The hotel is great! The hotel like many others in Kamloops are unfortunately booked with drunk and irresponsible parents and their dumb unsupervised children. It makes the facilities hard to use if you are not a drunk and stupid parent. Unfortunately they are everywhere. However, the hotel was quick to remedy the situation when those parents decided to overtake the facilities and dump their children to run wild. Overall, much better than the coast. Which did nothing when confronted with the same issue.

It was a very run down room, noisy hallways all night long, limited services and the bathroom was tiny and the toilet was not properly mounted to the floor. It was a poorly managed hotel. They might have put in some new furniture but even the carpets seemed grungy. I would not recommend this hotel unless I was a partying teenager which is what it seemed full of.

We were just there for a quick, overnight trip this time for our son to play hockey but it was a good stay. We chose here because we were able to get one of the larger rooms with a king bed for my husband and I, and two queens for our two teens. This hotel is older, but is always clean and comfortable. Lots of room to spread out and all be comfortable. The front desk staff was very friendly and quick at both check in and check out. On previous stays, we enjoyed the proximity to many good restaurants that are easily walkable from the hotel. This time we took advantage of sending our teens right downstairs to the Bistro to buy breakfast and they said it was good. The pool and games room are also usually a hit with our kids, but no time for that this quick trip. Typical of most cities, there are some issues with the unhomed population but we have not had any trouble in any of our stays.
