It locates right across Herod’s Gate, with a restaurant on top floor. Food was good. Room was old and very basic. AC had water leaking right on bed headboard. I had to turned it off and stuck a towel there to catch dripping. People working there were very nice and friendly.
Really bad not good Service terrible I went to check M and they said there is no room available I showed him the reservation through Expedia they ignored it and they refuse to refund the money back

Disliked: Cleanliness
The most filthy and dirty hotel I have ever been to. No hot water, bed sheets are not clean. The smell is so stinky.
This hotel is a dive. The shower was broken, there were broken floor tiles in the bathroom. The carpet is old down and worn out. Bedding and beds old and worn out.
The advertised “double bed” is not! You put two twin beds together and called it a double. Nobody calls twins a double. I let the hotel know I was 6’3 and big. They should have rejected my accommodations since they could not provide a true double bed without a split down the middle. The hotel was grossly dirty. I will be leaving a notice on hotels.com to remove your hotel from their list.I have stayed in Jerusalem many times and your hotel was little better than a hostile. It was extremely overpriced.
The rooms are spacious and tidy, although they miss basic facilities such as mugs/tea/coffee etc. They do contain a kettle though.
Mixed service from the staff. Night manager Mohamed is superb however.
This has been my worst hotel experience yet. The Jerusalem Metropole aooarently had some plumbing issues so moved us to a hotel across from them, Rivoli Hotel. The room we were given had a stench, filthy carpets, a stained towel and sullen staff. Security to the hotel was totally missing! We opened the front door after dinner and just walked in. No one at reception and room keys in full view of anyone who decided to want to pick one. Our assigned room was on the 2nd level and there was no staff to help you take your luggage up and down the stairs..there is no elevator in the hotel. Our room view was a graveyard! Bath tub was tiny and stepped..never seen anything as unsafe as this one.
I could go on and on about how bad my stay has been..the upside is that is was just one night.

Staff very helpful and breakfast was very good.
Hotel not clean and very run down though, located in a rundown area and a little hostile and not recommended to venture out at night.
Close to Old City though- Muslim entrance.
This is a small hotel in the Arabic area, great location and a few steps away from Herod's Gate in Old Jerusalem, besides that the room was dirty and smelly, hair on the bead sheets and pillows, there was no safe to leave your values in the room

Nice as close to old city , within walking distanc
Room was OK, , fridge not working, did report it, water cooler was only available for one day, no juice with breakfast. No fruits , staff very nice, helpful especially young boy, called Mohammed), he went extra mile when we needed help and somethings
One star at best. They over price it by hundreds of dollars just to show they’ve lowered the price and make you think you’re receiving a deal.
Stay away.
This is a 1 star hotel. It was dirty and being renovated. They post a price per night of a few hundred dollars, then cut the price to just over $100 USD to indicate that it is a great deal.
The renovations involved glue and other material that gave me a head ache within minutes.
We left the hotel within an hour and found a much better place.
I contacted Expedia customer service but they NEVER responded.
Where do I rate Expedia's performance????
Location is great! Hotel is dirty and isn't in the best condition. You get what you pay for. I left after 3 days. Everyone in the hote and in the shops on the street below were super friendly. I recommend going up a few streets to Legacy if it is in your budget.
