It was an absolute blast staying at DeCamondo Galata- location, service and best of all our Manager- Mr. Ozgur who helped us out with different touring options as well as complimentary services really made our stay so much better that we even extended our stay by few days for the hospitality. Highly recommended place in İstanbul!

Very nice hotel in the Galata area. Galata tower is a 5 min walk and so are many restaurants and cafes. This is a Marriott property which I didn’t know until I hit there so points were a nice bonus. Rooms are spacious and staff is helpful.

Being a boutique style hotel, it served most of my requirements. The rooftop restaurant was lovely overlooking the water….watching ships, boats and cruise ships leaving and coming into port. Staff were always friendly and attentive to my needs and accommodations.

All the front desk staff was great especially Ozan who always was on top of everything. Definitely I recommend this hotel. The only issue We had was that at the Nissan restaurant, which I believe is not from Marriott tried to charge us higher prices for the food than the prices were on the menu.

Hotel room as per photos, very helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel split across two buildings, narrow roads - hard for taxi driver to find correct location if arriving late. Otherwise excellent

The side of the hotel was a renovated old house with great brick ceilings. Loved our room and cute little patio to watch down on the street. The rooms are on the smaller side. The only issue we had was that they moved us to a different hotel due “technical difficulties” on our first night in Istanbul. And then tried to charge us extra since the newer hotel was a higher price. After telling the other hotel and going back and forth, they removed the extra charge. But upon arrival to the DeCamondo, the front desk didn’t apologize or try to make up for the mishap when it was an inconvenience on our end to have to move to 2 hotels in Istanbul.
