502 Ocean Blvd has a unique floor plan, perfect for large groups. The first level of this home features four bedrooms. In the primary bedroom is a king bed, access to the oceanfront deck, and a wonderful bathroom with a garden tub. The three other first-level bedrooms each offer a king bed as well. The living room, sitting room, kitchen, and dining room are located on the second level, featuring amazing oceanfront views from just about everywhere on this floor. The living room features a 66" TV. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and finished with granite countertops and has been renovated to include two refrigerators, two dishwashers, a gas cooktop, and an ice maker. An additional refrigerator is located in the garage. The second level bedroom features a queen bed, while the third level makes the perfect sleeping arrangement for all the kids. Three bedrooms located on the third level feature a total of seven twin beds. The crew upstairs will have a blast away from the parents down below.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

Best view on the island!
We loved this house - the VIEW was amazing - from every window. Very close proximity to the beach, not only to view but to walk on. House was clean & had a lot of space. The upstairs was so fun for the kids. The only thing we wished we had read was that the elevator wasn’t available to guests. Not only for unloading/loading but Turns out we had a family member twist her ankle on the uneven flooring on the first day so navigating the stairs was very tricky. The use of the elevator would’ve been very helpful. Overall we loved the house!

Perfect size, location and amenities but is in desperate need of some TLC. Top deck is questionable w/wobbly railings and holes in flooring. Wasnt informed beach access was gone along w/stairs other than a cone at end of deck. Couldn't shut garage door for 2 nights cause of rust and missing handles but found some WD40 which helped get it shut. Propane tank almost empty & had a friend bring a tank from home in case we ran out in middle of BBQ. While relaxing at pool, gardener showed up and started blowing dirt and mulch around until i sent him away. Advance Communication is key. We all still had a wonderful time and just loved the ice maker at bar!

great location on the beach
This house is very nice for a family. Kitchen has every appliance and the table seats 10 easily. The downstairs could use an update. The master closet was stuffed with unused items and the drawers stuck badly. The beach was very nice but erosion has caused a huge step down. Most houses have built steps down to the beach. The pool was good and very clean.

Family Spring Break
Our group had a wonderful time here. The house is well appointed and very charming. The decor is super fun and the layout was great to spread out in. The weather during our stay was unusually cold so we didn’t get much use of the pool area as we hoped. Either way, that didn’t stop us from enjoying our time one bit. The family really enjoyed exploring the area and felt right at home as we turned in each evening to our comfy beds! We hope to return in the future as IOP has easily become one of our favorite locations.

Beautiful beach house
Stayed with my family and many kids, Kids had a great time in the upstairs room and the house was set up nice for privacy with different families being there. Beach and view from house is beautiful, Only thing I would mention is it would be nice if the elevator was available for use. There is a lot of stairs which I didn’t mind but it would get tiring for older folks! We had a wonderful time and no complaints just nice family memories! Pool was a perfect match also!

This house would have been perfect if it had an elevator. It was perfect in parking, pool, ocean access, bedrooms, bathrooms, common room and kitchen. On the negative side, 5 or 6 trips a day up 32 steps make it unrealistic for average to older people.

House was large with many bedrooms. Nice location. House was much more lived in than the pictures showed. Nice for a week or two but not new at all. I recommend the owners clean the area surrounding the home. Lots of trash and clutter giving the house a unkempt look. Garage needs some TLC. We enjoyed our stay and would lease again.

We could not have had a better time. The property management was wonderful to work with. The property was well appointed with everything we needed for great trip. The views were spectacular. Even though the weather was cool and rainy, loved playing games, enjoying the view from the deck. Marveolous experience!

First, I will say our family had a nice visit. The location of the home could not have been better. The home is very spacious with a beach theme throughout. When we arrived, the home smelled amazingly clean. but....... The kitchen cabinets are old. Some are hanging crooked and have a sticky feel to them. The cooktop had several chips in it and the pop up vent behind it did not work. The master bedroom shower on the first level had brown mold on the walls. There was nasty, smelly mold found in the bottom of a trash can that had obviously been there for quite a long time. Also, we saw several cockroaches at night crawling on the kitchen counters. We saw one cockroach crawl up from under one of the couches and onto a family member. Needless to say, no one sat on that couch for the rest of our visit! The pool itself is nice, but does not have a heated option. There were a lot of weeds growing up through the pool deck and in the landscaping also. The pool deck table and chairs were too scary to attempt to sit at, but the lounge chairs were fine. Overall, none of these things stopped us from having a good time. In my opinion, this home is overpriced and we would probably not rent again.

We had the most wonderful week at 502 Ocean Blvd. We had 16 people staying without a working dishwasher though...which really sucked. They sent out a repairman who agreed the dishwasher needed to be replaced. We would definitely stay again if they replaced the dishwasher!

The location and beach access were spectacular but the house is in need of updates
We loved the location but when you pay top dollar for a vacation home you expect appliances and doors to work. The gas grill did not have gas. The dishwasher doesn't always turn on. The flat screen tvs are small. Sliding glass doors are in disrepair. The toilets are small and a tight fit. Some of the mattresses need to be replaced. The beach was nice and pool was refreshing.

Lots of space and great views. Lots of sloppy maintenance work and broken items - lamps, grill, broiler on oven, etc. Called in broken oven on Monday, wasn't resolved during our week. We should have been alerted to beach re-nourishment - common courtesy. Lots of big houses to choose from on IOP - I would go elsewhere.

A wonderful and memorable beach house reunion
We had a gathering with family coming from North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama and Colorado. This rental house was comfortable and had views of the ocean in abundance. The kitchen had everything we needed and we did plenty of cooking for a large number of people. It was well kept and clean. Easy access to the beach and plenty of ocean toys available in the garage for our enjoyment. Swimming in the pool was an exceptional bonus that we frequented and it also was well maintained. We certainly had a good time and no complaints with the housing or the rental company - it was wonderful. I would highly recommend.

Great IOP experience
Our family group of 13 had a fantastic stay here . The beach was amazing and just down the private boardwalk and the pool was a great place to relax . The house was well equipped and plenty large . We had some problems getting all of the TVs to work and they could thin out some of the furniture and knick knacks . But overall very comfortable and convenient to Charelston. We did the barrier island eco tour which was great. The management company was responsive and easy to deal with .
