You can start your day with coffee on the south-facing balcony and great views of the lake and the Swiss Alps. You can drive to the ferry terminal in Meersburg in 13 minutes (9.2 km), from which you can cross the lake the beautiful town of Konstanz, famous for its picturesque old centre with centuries-old buildings and a cathedral. You can also drive to Friedrichshafen and visit the Zeppelin museum in 16 minutes (10.5 km). The hilly area around Lake Constance also offers many hiking and cycling routes through woods and natural reserves, as well as skiing areas. In winter, you can reach the closest ski lift after 27 km or a 34-minute drive.
