Good location and service. Room needs update.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Waikiki. It's right next door to two of the best food joints in Waikiki - Maguro Spot and Musubi Cafe Iyasume. It also has a number of food trucks and popup food stalls in the area. The hotel charges an amenities fee upon arrival in addition to the room rates. I believe that's standard across the board in the area. All the staff in the hotel are courteous down the housekeepers and really made us feel welcome. The room itself is clean, but urgently needs a refresh. The bathroom is small but functional enough. The aircon in the room is quite loud and I can see how this could result in some people losing sleep.

Wonderful hotel
We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were really friendly and everything was clean and well thought out. I loved being able to have coffee and water available and having the use of beach gear. It was easy to get to other places from here.

This is a great hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was fantastic with lots of gluten free options. The hotel is close to the beach, shopping and amazing food. The bus is right outside to go to many of the attractions around Waikīkī. Rooms are on the small side but you don’t come to Waikīkī for the room so it suited us just fine.

The most unique about staying in the property was not only the beautiful place itself but the extraordinary customer service provided by the whole team as a unit. From checking in at the lobby, to the team whom operated the valet parking. Each and every team member provided extraordinary service like no other, i would highly recommend the vive hotel to friends and or family.

This was our second stay at the Vive Hotel and I can only recommend staying there. We stayed for 2 nights to do some shopping and easy access to get to the airport in the early morning. The rooms are small, but clean. Breakfast is good and they even packed us a to-go package as we left at 4:30am for the airport. They provide beach towels, chairs etc for no extra cost. Easy walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Looking forward to staying at Vive Hotel again on our next Hawai’i trip.
