Very conveniently located for dining and transportation but is also located in a quiet corner of a vibrant area. Great views from the room. Staff was very courteous and helpful.

Very nice hotel in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk to Fortress Hill MTR station. The view of Victoria Harbour from the rooftop terrace is stunning. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool in the evening with the lights of the harbour as a backdrop. Our superior harbour view room was a good size, with comfortable beds and had a great view of the harbour. The hotel staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Dining at the hotel was a bit pricey but there are loads of restaurants/cafes in the local area to choose from, including McDonalds, Pizza Express, Five Guys, Subway, as well as excellent local cuisine. You’ll need cash or an Octopus card for the local restaurants as they don’t take Visa or Mastercard. The Wellcome supermarket next to the MTR station is handy for buying bottled water and snacks. We spent 10 nights here and visited all over Hong Kong, including Lantau Island. We also did a day trip to Macau on the ferry. Everywhere was so easily accessible. Google maps or the native app on your phone is your best friend for getting out and about. We’d definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very old world hotel in need of a renovation. The lobby is cavernous and soulless, with no decoration or seating. Hong Kong’s ban on single use plastics is admirable, but there are good ways to implement it and bad. I’ve stayed in hotels that provide water filtration fountains in each room, and some have them on each level in the corridor. This hotel does neither. If the tap water is undrinkable I think it’s disrespectful and dangerous to provide no water whatsoever in the rooms. If not a filter, maybe glass bottles, chargeable, could be provided? The suggestion that I should boil tap water in a kettle is ridiculous - not only does that not adequately filter the water, it does not provide water at a drinkable temperature. Not a bad location, nothing wrong with the hotel, just not an amazing stay.

Es muy facil llegar al hotel desde el aeropuerto, la estacion del metro Fortress Hill se encuentra a 5 minutos del hotel. Nuestra llegada al hotel fue muy temprano y nos guardaron el equipaje para aprovechar el dia. Quiero resaltar la especial atencion de Maria, que nos explico muy detalladamente los lugares que podiamos visitar en Hong Kong y el transporte que debiamos tomar, nos ayudo mucho. Al hacer mi reserva ofrecia una botella de vino y al hacer el checkin me preguntaron a que hora la deseaba en mi habitacion y la llevaron puntualmente. Me ofrecieron un upgrade de habitacion y la vista era hermosa, buena limpieza, la cama era muy comoda y baño muy amplio, pero no es un hotel nuevo, se nota que ya tiene algunos años, pero esta bien. Muy buen hotel, muy recomendable.

Overall I think it looks grand from the big lobby with harp music in evening during our check in. Staff was helpful and prompt in getting us free upgrade to a bigger size room with a bit more harbour view and complimentary sparkling juice for our anniversary. Also helpful and fast in getting taxi in the morning. But I don’t like many big tours in the lobby. We like the room with big round tub but it is quite dated with the furnishing. And on the second night, we saw a baby cockroach (not the German type) in the bathroom.

Nice location with easy access to airport bus and metro. Lots of food opinions nearby. Hotel is nice and clean. Room vent was making some rattling noises at low speeds. I had to ask for complimentary wine so if you are entitled to it staff will not give it to you unless you mention it. Otherwise very pleasant and accommodating staff.
