Akoya Saigon - Nice place to stay!
The Akoya Saigon Central Hotel served as our oasis in Ho Chi Minh City. We had a balcony room, where we could look at the high rises in the background in our own space. The room was nice and appeared freshly renovated. The staff were very kind and wonderful to talk to. Anh gave us a list of handy phrases translated from English to Vietnamese. Yen gave us each night an Origami animal, containing an allegory to read before bed. Breakfast was very good. No rotation on Western food, but each morning we had a different Asian dish. Two chafing pans. One had rice or noodles, and the other a protein based dish (chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, etc.). We would stay again if in Ho Chi Minh City.

Love everything about this hotel and this is the second time we’ve stayed here. The staffs are fantastic and very helpful in everything we needed. We will return again if we return to Vietnam in the future.

The staff was really helpful and kind They put my black clothes with the white towels in the laundry machine, but quickly found the solution. I was out of the hotel the whole day but I like to have a clean bathroom and nice bed all good with this hotel

An easy walk to most things
The Akoya Saigon Central is perfectly located in District 1, and located close to the market as well as most of the museums you will have on your list of things to do. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was available and adequate. Staff were courteous and helpful with a suggestion for a place to visit or eat.

I just stayed a week at Akoya and I'm blown away with the level of service I received. The staff are genuinely friendly, very helpful and made useful recommendations since it was my first time at HCM. I chose this hotel because of the location, which is only a few minutes away from quite a few major attractions, plus Saigon Centre Mall is also right there. The rooms are clean and the free breakfast is also fresh and delicious 😋 I highly recommend this hotel which also offers great value. Shout out to their Joy, Le Dui, Anh, and specially Yen, who helped me with cell data and also went out of her way to help me find a local product I was looking for. I was well taken care of. Thank you Akoya.

This was an amazing stay, so moderately priced and so close to the main attractions 2 minutes walk to Benh Than markets, good stalls and super close to be picked up for attractions like Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta tour. We had an upgraded room with balcony and whilst our room was perfectly sized we did see others that might seem a bit smaller than people are used too. The price is perfect for the quality service and 24 hours reception we received.

Noisy and leaking water air conditioner. Night staff was nice to lend me a fan, but unfortunately it wasn't a quiet one. Breakfast was delicious though not a lot of choices. I like the yogurt, stir-fried shrimps with vegetables. Room was very clean. Mattress was not so comfortable.

We stayed in the deluxe king room with balcony. This room was fine, not sure about other interior rooms. Location is good, short walk to most sites if you don’t mind the heat. Breakfast just ok and the one coffee machine made it difficult to get coffee. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Property location and site is a walkable distance to all tourist sites. Convenience mini marts across from hotel. Love the bathroom and shower unit. Breakfast also good and staff great. Only downside and slight at that ( some noise at night) but is expected as close to restaurants and entertainment.

The property room rate is reasonable for stay in this area. Room is clean and room service is good. The entrance to hotel is not obvious and to access to the reception area, you have to carry your luggages up a flight of steps.
