Communication prior to our vacation was very good, and the check-in process was smooth. The condo was recently remodeled, very bright and decorated nicely. The cleanliness and weekly necessities were not what we were expecting. Our main disappointments revolved around a lack of paper products to sustain a family of 4 for 8 days. Our typical rental experience is one of plentiful tolietries. There was 1-2 rolls of TP in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels, 1 dish towel in the kitchen, exactly 4 bath towels, very little dishwasher detergent, and 4 detergent pods for the washing machine. We really liked having a washer and dryer in the unit, but upon arriving we needed to stock up on paper products at the grocery store down the street. This was an additional expense and time taken away from our vacation. The cleaniliness of the condo was also slightly disappointing as we took a few hours settling in and cleaning. There was a lot of sand on the floors, so sweeping was a daily activity. We get it, we are in a beach town, but we felt the cleaning staff could have done a better job in preparing the unit. After our first night on the bedding my wife was very frustrated that the sheets were popping off the mattress. This was a deep pillow top mattress with an inadequate fitted sheet. We ended up going to Walmart to get a deep pocket sheet set for the week at our expense and just brought them home with us. Overall the experience was just average, not exceptional, not terrible.
