Short walk to the beach, although, do have to cross a road to get there (and at least one small set of stairs if taking shortest route). Not a problem for us, but, if bringing beach gear in a wagon something to keep in mind.
Nice pool, but, fairly small for the amount of units in The Village at peak season. We only used a few times (kids preferred beach), trying to only go at times without a crowd.
During our stay, there were a couple of minor things - one being a small leak in kitchen sink - that we reported to the on-site property mgt office, which were quickly taken care of (within an hour of reporting). There is a washer and dryer on site, which is shared by the group of other units in the same 'pod' (about 5 other units). We attempted laundry mid-week in the evening, which apparently was same as others wanting to do. So, may find have to wait to use the washer and dryer.
The pull out bed is pretty basic, but functional.
The unit is located in a quiet, safe location. Although I know there were neighbors (using washer/dryer, passed each other as walking in/out of our units and saw bikes outside their unit), no noise could be heard from neighboring units in the group.
Walking distance to the General Store (soft serve ice cream, candy, and basic supplies) and Big Jim's restaurant (good options for kids and husband said the best burger he's had at a restaurant in a long time).
Quick access to bike paths (sidewalks)..
The property owner communicated very well. First, soon after we booked our vacation with a phone call to go over details, checked that all was good as we arrived, and a check mid-week.
