Pleasant stay before flight

Pleasant stay. Room had a high standard of cleanliness. I have only one negative. The room temperature was too warm for us. 25 degrees which we were unable to cool during the night.

We had great service. We especially appreciated the detailed help we received from Sanna and Suvi. They both were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly in their interaction with us. They and all the other employees we interacted with is the reason we will book our stay there the next time we are in Helsinki.

The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The building itself is dated, but our Superior room was quite large and comfortable. Complimentary water and candy bar in the room. We only stayed the night in transit abroad. This hotel offers bus transportation every 30 minutes and is close to the Helsinki Vantaa Airport.

No airport signage but worse was bedside sockets power off when bedside lights switched off (different switch & sockets) so mobile phones don’t charge while asleep - most ‘brain dead’ design ever seen. Worse was staff knew when we told them next morning but there is no warning in room!

I arrived at 22:00 as the restaurant was closing and I had not had dinner. As I was checking in, the front desk manager suggested that I go eat and the maitre’d took me right to a table and patiently asked what she could get me for dinner. Never rushed—always professional. Great hospitality!
