Staff was very friendly. We were allowed to bring our pet which was great! Room was very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet. Did not hear any noise from either room on either side. Beautiful mountain view. Would definitely stay there again!

It was a quaint little place in a small town. My only complaint was the shade over the window had a big gap on both sides letting in the outside light right above the window. The light went right into your eyes when you went to bed. I had to stick towels on both sides to block out the light.

We stayed here before going up the Cog Railway to the top of Mt. Washington. It met all of our needs and was just what we wanted. Restaurants are walkable distances and the drive to the Cog Railway was relatively convenient.

Property was obviously an older motel than had been completely revamped. We had a king room which was most likely an add on to the original building. It was next to the main drag thru town. This was not an issue till the morning when cars were heading to work then it was quite noisy but it was time for us to get up anyway. Our room had 2 landing step down into the room. This was a bit concerning to me—afraid I would trip over it during the night—luckily I didn’t. Bed was nice. I got an extra blanket because as a southern girl, was cold. Shower was great. Wonderful water pressure and the water was extra hot!! Far better than any chain hotel we have stayed in so far this trip. Staff was very friendly and accommodating We sat around the fire pit that evening but apparently it can only be on from 8-9pm due to some city regulation but we enjoyed visiting with other guests until it got too chilly.
