Vibe Hotel Review, experienced traveller

The staff at the hotel were excellent and always courteous and willing to help. Loved the pool bad, did not eat the breakfast but the facilities looked great. The pool area is great, jacuzzi is warm/ not too hot, main pool was warm once you’re in. Amazing view onto nerrang river. Superb location , just 5 mins from Cavill Street ( main road to trams and beach). Only slight issue was having to call for a refill of coffee/ sweeteners and glasses but the beds & towel replacement was spot on. Id recommend this hotel for both couples, families and the location & service

Front desk staff were absolutely amazing, always friendly and very helpful. Location was good, short walks to transport, dining and shopping. We had a lovely view over the river. The only downside was their housekeeping, it definitely could have been better. Our bathroom floor was quite dirty with stains that could have been easily mopped. My duvet had a stain on it and every day there seemed to be an item left out of refreshment - ie toilet rolls, towels, etc we had to keep asking front desk for these items. The soaps don’t smell very nice either. Overall, the place was clean but housekeeping routines need improvement. Seemed like they couldn’t be bothered with much effort. It was a nice place overall, but a shame the housekeeping let them down.

Great location, walking distance to central surfers paradise. Hotel staff were lovely and happy to help. Hotel could do with some updates and extra cleaning to the rooms. It was fine for a single night stay, however noticed some spots of mould, weird smells and bathroom definitely needs deep cleaning. Overall a good stay for a single night.

Check in process was average, staff were not overly friendly. Once up in our room, I called down to reception to ask about late check out which was apart of my booking, but was left on hold for over 7 minutes before I finally gave up and hung up. Hotel was fine, basic, clean. Bed was comfortable. Ocean views were nice, despite the rain, location opposite the main road was so noisy and constant sirens throughout the night, we were both unable to sleep. Buffet Breakfast was good. But no one there to make barista coffees from the cafe. Was a good deal for what we got.

Hotel was very convenient to Surfer’s Paradisde Esplanade, beach, markets and restaurants. We only stayed one night but we were overall satisfied with the room and furnishings. The patio was not accessible, not sure if that was due to the tropical storm. The bathroom has a vent open to the outside, which made the bathroom hot and noisy. Otherwise, it was good for a short visit.

Terrible service

Would not deal with this place again, unsafe during a cyclone and would not offer a refund after I could not make it to stay there. Their systems were down so I was unable to cancel in the required time... Hotels.com could only get them to offer a 6 month credit, which they then revoked.
