Disappointing
This hotel has a very misleading collection of photos. The rooms are worn down, the cleanliness at the limit of acceptance. The staff operates adequately and friendly. Our first room had dirty towels, a very dirty shower-curtain, a broken table and no curtains to a tiny window - see pictures attached. When requesting a new room, we were given one immediately. This second room was acceptable - see pictures attached. Overall our experience was very disappointing, since we expected a very different experience from the clean and modern looking images the hotel provided.

Enkelt och slitet i en nedgången stad.
Stora rum men heltäckningsmattan var fläckig och smutsig. Frukosten var enkel men ok. Det bästa man kan säga om detta hotell är att det fanns rikligt med varmvatten.

A quand le remplacement des moquettes.
Bon accueil. Et ce jusqu'à 22h30. Au niveau des moquettes, cela fait peur, que ce soit dans les couloirs ou dans la chambre. A refaire absolument. Dommage , à part ça, c'est propre et relativement spacieux.

Soyons objectifs
Avant de réserver j'ai lu de nombreux commentaires negatifs sur la propreté de cet hotel. J ai neanmoins réservé. Ma conclusion est qu il ne faut pas confondre propreté et usure. Draps et serviettes immaculés. Salle de bains très propre. Lit ferme et confortable. Alors oui, la moquette de la chambre et du couloir est hors d'age et à changer. Comme disait ma grand mère c est des taches propres :-) comme un vieux linge deteint. Oui les peintures s'ecaillent dans la salle de bain et le couloir. Oui, la tuyauterie de la baignoire n'etait pas peinte, cuivre apparent (figurez vous su il y s un commentaire chagrin là dessus!!) Mais elle est neuve et la douche propre et fonctionnelle. Bref si c est a refaire je reviendrai ici. Et si j avais voulu mieux il y a d'autres hotels a Gien mais tous plus cher. On ne peut pas tout avoir a ce prix là
