Casa Mannu Fluminimaggiore - Authentic home in the historic village center


Casa Mannu is a logistically ideally situated, 2 floor house in the old village center of Fluminimaggiore, Carbonia-Iglesias, for max. 6 adults + 1 child. It opens through a 2 winged, lockable aluminum gate into a 50m² tiled courtyard. On the ground floor on the left side there is a service house with toilet, shower and washing machine. Right in front of it the outside staircase leads to the upper floor. Underneath there is a small storage room, a protected area for the gas bottles and the supply line, a Sardinian washbasin with water connection and lighting and the hot water boiler standing on the wall. In the shady rear part of the courtyard the entrance door leads directly into the kitchen / dining room with fireplace. The kitchenette offers a lot of space and is very well equipped. Refrigerator with freezer compartment, double washbasin and oven are also available. On the right there is a double bedroom with wardrobe, chest of drawers, window and mosquito protection. On the left is the bathroom with toilet, bathtub, bidet and small window.
On the balcony with small terrace in the upper floor there are 2 separately usable and lockable double bed rooms each with cupboard or chest of drawers. This modularity is especially ideal for families with children / teenagers, groups of friends or several couples. In the first room there is an inflatable Allround Stand Up Paddle of the SAFE SUP brand as a small highlight. The house is minimalist and functionally furnished. Everything you need is there. For the outdoor area there is a table for 6-8 persons and a side table. There is also a gas oven for cooler days inside and a barbecue grill for the summer outside.
The driveway is a bit narrow. Smaller vehicles can easily drive in and park. Larger vehicles should be parked on the side of Via Lussu vis a vis.

Casa Mannu is situated at the same height as the main road "Via Vittorio Emmanuele". The main square be reached in 3 minutes by foot without any effort. Directly opposite the accommodation you will find a supermarket for daily shopping and the "formaggeria e caseificio Antas", with homemade cheese, pasta and ravioli is just around the corner.

Public transport: The bus stop ARST is ideally located, 100m straight down the street. In summer (June - August) there is an additional bus connection to Portixeddu, the nearby dune beach.
Coming: Airport Cagliari - Elmas. From there on rental car. Alternatively the train to Iglesias (45min) starts every 2 hours from the station directly at the airport and then the bus no. 804 to Fluminimaggiore. (40min)

Nous avons fait le tour du sud-est et la location est bien située dans un agréable village avec des habitants très sympathiques. Il ne manque pas de commerce de proximités y compris 2 poissonneries et de bons restaurants. Bref une très bonne expérience.

Soggiornato dal 18 al 24 agosto Appartamento: esattamente come da descrizione. L'appartamento non è moderno ma è spazioso e dotato di tutto il necessario. Non dispone di aria condizionata, ma durante il nostro soggiorno non abbiamo sofferto il caldo. La sera era sempre presente una piacevole brezza. Comodo l'ampio cortile piastrellato, ma avendo una station wagon abbiamo scelto di parcheggiare nelle vie limitrofe in quanto il vialetto di accesso è troppo stretto. Proprio di fronte all'appartamento è presente un piccolo supermercato. Il distributore di benzina/gasolio è all'inizio del paese. La posizione è comoda per visitare le moltissime attrattive del territorio: spiaggia di Portixeddu, spiaggia di Piscinas, capo Pecora, tempio di Antas, galleria Henry, grotte di su Mannau... e molte altre. Consigliata la visita al museo etnografico di Fluminimaggiore (mulino Licheri). Host: Hannes è stato disponibile e corretto. Al momento del check in/out, Hannes era fuori sede, ma tutto è stato gestito in modo semplice e puntuale: le chiavi ci sono state consegnate dai vicini (gentilissimi). Grazie.

Località stupenda
Qualche disguido all'ingresso nella casa, ma subito risolto grazie alla disponibilità del Sig. Hannes che, seppure fuori sede, è in stretto contatto con i vicini di casa che sono molto disponibili e collaborativi. La casa è sicuramente molto indicata per famiglie con bambini grazie ad un ampio cortile chiuso con cancello. (Attenzione: se si ha un'automobile piccola si può parcheggiarla tranquillamente nel cortile, se invece la macchina è un po' grossa è meglio lasciarla in strada, come abbiamo fatto noi: con la Hyundai I 20, se non sei un genio, è difficile riuscire a entrare nel grande cancello perché la strada è molto stretta!) La casa dispone di ben tre camere da letto e di ampia cucina completa di tutti gli accessori necessari sia per piccole che per grandi famiglie. Noi, dato che eravamo solo in due e per pochi giorni, abbiamo utilizzato solo il piano terra: cucina, bagno e camera da letto, oltre ai vari locali nel cortile. Gli spazi interni sono risultati freschi e il letto molto confortevole. Vicino al paese si trovano diverse località marine. Noi siamo andati a Portixeddu, a circa 10 minuti di auto dalla casa, località incantevole con una grandissima spiaggia e pure scogli dove abbiamo visto diversi pescatori alle prese con canne e lenze... Inoltre a Portixeddu si trovano diversi bar e ristoranti e, oltre alla spiaggia libera, si possono anche noleggiare ombrelloni e lettini. Speriamo di poterci ritornare, ma per un periodo più lungo!
