The Hotel was in a fantastic location, very close to the Cathedral and great dinning spots. The room was large with a comfortable bed and bathroom.

The staff was beyond helpful with helping us carry the strollers for both our babies up and down the staircases every time we entered the hotel despite the lobby being on a separate floor from the entrance. Our room had a classic feel but was well maintained and the bathrooms were recently renovated.

Location near the Duomo and the piazza. The only frustrating thing about the room is you have to use the room key for power, meaning you cannot charge anything (like a phone or computer) unless you’re in the room. Breakfast fare was a nice variety and the gal running the breakfast room was delightful!

Great place to stay in Florence! Hotel staff are very accommodating. Hotel had an elevator which is a plus. Rooms are spacious with air conditioning and free breakfast. Would stay here again!

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. I don’t understand how this property has such a great rating. Avoid. Upon arrival, you have to carry luggage up stairs to get to elevator. Reception is on level 1. No bellhop although when booking said there was one. Checking in - reception did not go over what in the mini bar was complimentary and what was not. Told us our room was on the 5th floor, which required taking elevator to the 4th and then carrying luggage upstairs. I asked “we have to go up the stairs again?” in disbelief. Reception did not ask if we needed assistance. Room - this room was essentially in the attic. Stuffy as if no one had been there in ages. Killed 2 bugs in first 20 mins. Dead bug in shower. Shower was tiny. I am 5’6 135lbs and felt very restricted. Room was quite large, but did not resemble photos. Found a bug deterrent wall plug in the closet, which we ended up plugging in ourselves. Toiletries - we had 2 shower caps, 1 cup (2 people), towels, and hand soap. No shampoo, body soap, lotion, or standard toiletries that would be expected, especially at a 4 star hotel.There was a bottle of hand soap in the shower. I had to go ask reception if they had shampoo and shower gel and they sent the maid to our room, who was confused what i was asking for but ended up bringing the right missing items after explaining. Pros - location and room size. Nothing else. Could have booked something for less money that would’ve been much better quality!
