It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was nice. It's not a fancy place, but worth the money we paid for the night. The biggest complaint was super thin curtains that didn't do anything to block out the sunlight, which comes up at 4am in the summer.

The bed sheet was too small... You could see the mattress directly, which had partial stains. On the room mirror, sticky snot from the predecessor could still be seen.

Very agreeable surprise!
It was a last minute decision to stay one more night on Fanoe, and we will never regret to have tried Hotel Fanoe! Very clean, cozy, welcoming, easygoing, plenty of living room style areas, a wonderful breakfast buffet - all in all a very positive surprise! I would stay there again!

Virker som et sted, der ikke er egnet til hotelkategorien. Det virker mere som en skole m opholdsmuligheder. Der skal topshines, hvis man vil ha' gæster fremover. Men personale søde og morgenmad fint nok. Dog pandekager var papagtige. Og meget mere lyssætning. Plus kunst. Og tv på værelset virker jo ikke mm.

Overraskende flott øy å feriere på.
Kom til Fanø uten bil da ferge lemmen var i ustand og dermed tok ikke fergen biler fra / til Fanø. Vi parkerte bilen i Esbjerg og tok med oss det viktigste av bagasje over til Fanø. Flott plass og god frokost. Sykler fikk vi leigd som vi brukte i eit døgn, og syklet øya både på langs og tvers. Flott øy å sykle på. Det var festival der den helgen, mye folk, musikk og god mat. En øy som vi gjerne tar turen tilbake til.
