This was an excellent place to stay while visiting Fairbanks. Lots of amenities. Loved the aurora observation and information along with the movies. Only thing that needs to be changed is to put rubber wheels on all of the carts the noise as the carts were moved across the floors was destructing. Breakfast music option could be changed up.

This place has it all in addition to good rooms service, and food. It is a unique place. We stayed in a cabin. They called is to let us know the northern lights were out. Great viewing from there. Great place to stay in Fairfax for a one of a kind experience. You would never know its minutes from the airport.

We have stayed there many times but, this time, were very impressed with the buffet breakfast. It was awesome. Pike’s always makes us feel welcome!

Not too many options in Fairbanks but this place is very tired. We stayed in the cabins which seemed MUCH nicer than the main hotel. But lots of maintenance issues - our window didn’t open, the phone didn’t work and fan needed re-setting. Sheets are very poor quality. Breakfast buffet mediocre at best. Manager heard snapping at staff. Staff all gather to smoke in the path leading to the cabins. Definitely spoilt the fresh Alaska air. Not near to downtown and hard to get Ubers. Hotel shuttle only goes to train and airport. Airport is actually walkable. But cabins were nice - by the river and fire pit. Can walk (about 50 mins) to University which has lots to visit including Museum of the North which was good to fill a few hours before our flight. Overall hotel was okay but can rely on high demand low supply to not have to upgrade.

Nice large complex with a LOT of tour bus traffic. Timing is everything if you want to check in/out eat breakfast or do anything in the main lodge area or restaurant. Right off the highway and down from the airport. Pike has a bunch of construction going on in the resort area too. Would NOT recommend the restaurant if you can find something else. Menu does not have many options I would choose and the meals are very pricey. I had the prawns & scallops w/pasta which was a garlic soup broth (prawns were small fishy tasting shrimp). Husband ordered hot wings and chips which were pretty tasty. We’d stay here again but eat somewhere else

I have been here before, and it is typically great. Almost a resort with the amenities; however, this time massive construction projects underway. Grounds inaccessible, and daytime noise is extreme. Will be great though when done. The have a shuttle to various places for a slight fee, including Fred Meyers ( think big box like “W” with reasonable prices for Alaska.) Little store gift shop d tree/ sundries on site. Everyone very nice except one older woman manning breakfast buffet, kind of curt not friendly. Buffet at $20 was very good. Food and service at restaurant (same resort) across from hotel was GREAT!!

My adult daughter and I loved the entire property. The theater room with beautiful lending library, the outside gardens, the various photo ops available on site, fire pit, breakfast buffet,…a lot of are and thought went into development of Pikes and it showed! LOVED IT!!!
