This is definitely one of the worst hotels we have stayed at. The young man at the hotel counter at night was not helpful and gave me a hard time checking in because the room was reserved under my husband's name. Finally, I was able to check in. Then after a couple of hours I noticed that my air conditioner was not working properly, so again I went to the lobby to ask for another room. The young man told me they had no rooms available. I asked for Maintenace to go check the air conditioner and he proceeded to let me know that it was late, and no one was there for Maintenace. I then asked for him to call his manager and once again he said it was 10:00 pm and it was too late to call his manager. After arguing with him that I am a paying customer, he called his manager and the problem was resolved. Too much aggravation to ever stay here again. DO BETTER COMFORT INN.

Why is this rated so well?
Pros -Large rooms -Very good breakfast Cons -Front desk associate wasn't exactly friendly -It took several minutes of running the water until it came up to full temperature. This process had to be repeated any time hot water was needed. What a waste of water! Why is there not a circulating loop?? -Rooms are dingy -Sickly colored lighting and not much of it -Dirty light switches, couch, toilet, curtains -Tub porcelain was damaged resulting in rust stains -Wall mounted thermostat didn't seem to work. The thermostat on the unit did except it refused to keep the fan on continuously as requested -An adjacent rooms alarm clock went off for 30+ minutes in the middle of the night. While this may be no fault of the hotels, I have reasons to believe otherwise. I never heard anyone in an adjacent unit and my room's alarm clock was off by 15 hrs indicating they aren't maintained.

Great hotel and staff
Overall the stay was good. Hotel was nice and clean. Front desk attendant was great as well. The only downfall with this particular hotel is its location. Convenient to the airport, but not at all easy to find. Be aware of potholes if traveling in the evening time. We had to replace a tire, which indeed up being much more than the cost of the room.

Just a note when leaving the airport and crossing the main highway to come to Hotel there is a Detour sign on road to come to hotel which we did not know if we could come down road, but we did and was able to get to Hotel if the sign is no longer needed it should be removed, second in hotel parking lot was a street light that was broken and it strobe bright all night,

I was only staying one night since I had an early flight. The hotel is very close to the airport and other dining areas. I liked that the hotel was clean and well maintained. My room was a suite and so big that I could have a large group over for a football game party. I look forward to staying there on my next trip to El Paso. I highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

The Staff were pleasant, the young lady at the desk allowed me to check in about 15 minutes early. The room was ok, the carpet looked dirty sad to say . I was worn out from the week and looked forward to a hot shower, well that was out of the question 😓 I got in and all I got was tepid water. The bed was comfortable. It took a while for the heater to kick in. I can't have a room too cold due to a condition that I have and didn't expect the room to be so cold. Disappointed, This hotel can do better, it has potential.
