Ideal for concerts
Great stay at the Gibson for concert. Very comfy room and an amazing waterfall shower. Check-in was a bit slow but there was a concert thst evening but probably needed more that 2 people on reception..

Great stay let down by parking issues
The hotel itself was excellent - great room, excellent location and extremely helpful staff. The big downside was that all 11 ev chargers in the car park were broken, and had been for 3 days. The staff weren't aware of this and didn't have any suggestions for alternatives.

Email received to say check in was available yet when we went to check in, the room wasn't ready. We were given comp drinks though which helped and only delayed by 45mins. No biggie but the delay did let me see other guests checking in. Party time people! Stayed here as I was running the Dublin Marathon but unfortunately the Saturday night was full of kids attending a DJ in 3 Arena so there wasn't much sleep to be had with the banging doors, music, shouting/roaring etc. Half expected this really, considering the location next to the 3Arena - so if you want to stay for a gig, great! But if you need a good sleep, perhaps choose somewhere else. Stayed a further 2 nights and had no issues whatsoever. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Room service dinner was lovely. Room was spacious and clean and staff checked in to see if we wanted it serviced etc. All in all, I'd have no problem staying here again, but perhaps only to attend whatever gig might be on next door.

Very nice beautiful hotel. Convenient to the tram that takes you into any part of Dublin that you want to go to. Did not have any problems with noise inside the hotel room could not hear a thing through the walls. Very pleased with our stay.
