The hotel was centrally located. We were greeted by the staff when we arrived. The room was very nice, the bed/pillows were very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The bed was in a nook surrounded by 3 walls and you had to scoot out of it but it worked out fine, just a little different. Would highly recommend.
Great location, so close to the city center. Couple of things … I wish you could charge back to your room at the restaurants. There was no help for finding things about the hotel either on print in the room or on the tv. No instructions on how to use the coffee machine, restaurant & bar hours and menu etc…
Pretty good - little things could be better - bathroom not that clean, room safe which cannot even fit a small laptop and an iron and board which collapses if touched and doesn’t get hot enough to iron anything. Room great.
This place was so convenient for shopping and eating. Short walk to temple bar and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Hotel was clean and modern. Bar and coffee bar in the lobby.
Staff was rude and unhelpful when I arrived. The person at the front desk refused to help me and pointed me to a self check in kiosk, which was not working. He did eventually check me in when I explained it was not functioning but he seemed annoyed about it. Unwelcoming and unprofessional establishment.
We stayed in a cozy king room which is how it's advertised but its clean, quiet and comfortable.
Air conditioning excellent which isn't the case at most Dublin Hotels. WiFi seamless and staff very helpful. You're 2 blks from St Stephen's Green and Grafton street. Terrific location.
I've stayed at The Shelbourne and the Conrad Hilton for 3X the price yet I'll pick the Marlin over them because of affordability and a quieter, cooler room. Well done Marlin!
We got there less than two hours before check in time, after a 13 hour plane ride and a 45 minute drive from the airport. We were exhausted and hungry. They said they would check us in early for a $20 fee. Why do I have to pay a fee? The room is either ready or not ready. They also told us to park in the parking deck across the street and they would comp our parking fees. They did not. Parking was a nightmare and the $20 check in early charge seemed desperate and low class. Other than trying to shake down patrons for every nickel and dime they could... it is in an excellent location walking distance to see River-dance, shopping and restaurants. Just bring extra money, they may start charging for towels or toilet paper....
Rooms aren’t huge but very well designed so it doesn't matter. Stayed for just one night and the place was perfect.
Would certainly stay again for city breaks.
Staff members no too helpful. Charge for early check in and also charge for late check out ( even for an hour or so!) especially when the rooms are very expensive.
Most hotels offer either an early check in or a late check out without slapping on an extra charge!
This was an amazing hotel, unfortunately my husband was very poorly and needed an ambulance. All the staff were so kind and very professional. It made us feel safe. They were considerate and attentive at all times.
The hotel itself is lovely, exceptionally clean and welcoming. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed in.
We really liked the location, it was perfect for walking around Dublin, plus there are bus stops around. Breakfast was really good as well.
However the property definitely felt more like a business hotel and the room was probably more suitable for one person rather than 2 with very little storage/closet space, or space in general. Unfortunately you cannot open the window either, which is definitely not helpful during summer.
