Clean & tidy hotel, great location. Only used the bed and the shower as we were in the pub all the time so cannot comment on breakfast etc. Hotel staff really helpful & polite would definitely return
We loved staying here! The staff was so pleasant and knowledgeable. They were so helpful. Our room was smaller, but it was what we expected. It was modern but had the Irish character that we were looking for. There were grocery stores, restaurants, and shopping all within a block or two. We would definitely stay here again.
The rooms don’t quite seem to match the pictures online. Check in was easy, but we were vastly overwhelmed with a horrible smell as soon as we entered our room. They had a window open, but it wasn’t open long enough and we started getting a headache within 5 minutes. The staff was able to get us a different room that was nicer. Still seems like a lot of little maintenance is needed. It was nice being very close to lots of shops and places to eat.
Room was cramped and not all that clean. There was barely enough room to walk between the foot of the bed and the wall.
The bathroom was not very clean.
For $130 a night, we could have stayed somewhere much better. Good central location, not so good place to stay. Foot traffic outside is pretty loud most of the night. Without air conditioning, the window had to stay open.
One of our cab drivers also recommended not staying in that area again.
Room was smaller than expected. Bathroom was exceptionally small as well. Shower is so small that it is very difficult to keep from bumping into the walls. The grout is stained with mildew. The bed only had the fitted sheet and a duvet cover. We could not get the phone to work, so we had to walk down to reception to ask for a top sheet. They immediately grabbed one right there for us to take up though and were nice.

Liked: Staff & service
The location is situated nice and centrally , the immediate area is fairly busy and can be fairly noisy in the early morning especially .
We found our rooms to be quite compact with just the basics and to be honest could do with being re-furbished as the decor was quite dated and a bit worn . Cheap and cheerful and kept clean .
Extremely tiny room
No ice available
Not good tv reception

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Older hotel on busy city street. This means small rooms; some have been updated. Some noise from street if you can keep window closed, but remember, no AC.
You can't do better than this to stay in the heart of the city for a good price. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, and the amenities are excellent. The only downside is to be expected - you are in central Dublin, which can be a tad loud. Word to those wiser than myself who may want to go out drinking all night on a Wednesday - recycling pickup is Thursday morning in this part of the city, and it involves a great number of bottles being smashed into a truck at 6:30am (Guinness and Bulmer's bottles, I'd like to assume, but I didn't look to see).

Location was good. Easily walkable to downtown. Room was small. It was clean, but there were obvious patches on the wall, cuts/nick in the vinyl shower surround, staff was helpful and friendly. only stayed one night, would not have stayed more.
