The location is nice. The parking is a little confusing to get to. The room was nice. Just a little things like the door sticks. Not sure they put too many coat paint. The bathroom good be bigger. The shower was definitely really small and out dated. Over the location is really nice. We were able to walk across the street to river walk. There place we can walk to.

Stayed here during the Detroit free press. Very convenient location. A little outdated and small bathroom but spacious room. We had the deluxe king riverfront view. Some areas were a bit dusty. Got the job done.

Hotel OK check in was a mess
Check in was an absolute mess. The day before arrival I got ten or so identical emails and messages prompting me to check in online. Figured it was a bug so I followed the link in one of them. Upon arrival I was told that I had booked ten rooms and the type of room I had actually booked was not available. Wasted almost an hour sorting the situation. Unclear who messed up, hotels.com or the actual hotel. Who knows. I don’t understand why this has to be so complicated. I pay for a room, hotel gives me the room I paid for. Does not seem complicated.
