The only thing that was good was the staff. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been clean properly. Dust in the draws. The bathroom could have also done with a freshener.

The hotel was very clean. Ideal location. Good ammenities. The only issue I had was being unable to turn down the aircon, from 28 degrees! It was a balmy night's sleep. A little card with clear instructions would be ideal.

Fairly standard Holiday Inn experience

Pros: Plenty of free parking, free wifi (essential given the poor mobile signal here), decent breakfast buffet and friendly & helpful staff.
Cons: The interior finishings, particularly the bathrooms, is looking a bit tired and could do with a refresh. Better lighting on the access road too.
Location: A short drive from the Wirral and Chester, or an easy day trip along the North Wales coast into Snowdonia.
Needed somewhere to stay in the Northop Hall area for a family weekend, and having used the Travelodge on the other side of the A55 on a previous visit, we decided to give the Holiday Inn a try this time - a bit more expensive up front, but with the benefit of free wifi, onsite breakfast and the nearby McDonalds and Costa. Having stayed in various Holiday Inns/Expresses around the world, this hotel didn't offer up any surprises, delivering a perfectly solid, pleasant experience. Nothing to get too excited about, but nothing to make us feel we'd have been better off spending our money elsewhere either.

Weekend away for fa,ily occasion

Staff firendly and helpful. Air conditioning not working on arrival so quickly moved room. Evening meal in restaurant good value for money

Value hotel

Hotel is good and has all the expected facilities.it is located on the side of motorway and you definitely need transport.excellent value for money.other than location no complaints

Fantastic hotel, with wonderful staff!

We stayed here with our four and a half month old daughter. They provide a very extensive room service and do not charge for the tray to be brought to your room. We were able to avail of a special menu for dinner and breakfast at a cheaper rate. The food was fabulous! Very quiet room, with lovely staff who can not do enough for you!

toilet squeezed in the corner

The hotel was okay. There was just one thing. I'm not saying that I'm small but far from overly fat, however could not manage to sit on the toilet comfortably. The toilet is squeezed into the corner and to make matters worse the toilet paper rolls are fixed to the wall that is already too close.
