The lobby itself was very cold. Even the clerk checking us in acknowledged, and said that is why she was wearing a double sweater. When we entered the room saw the thermostat was set at 68 F. Had to shut the unit and had to wait a few hours before it became bearable. I am sure could save some electric billing expenses, if temps were set to some moderate limits. Now the toilets. It is set so low that seniors like me had tough time sitting and especially getting off. A few of my friends had the same horrifying experience. One person said they almost fell off of it while trying to get up. Hope your renovations will take care of this problem.

The food and service was outstanding. My issues were that for the price you pay for a room, you shouldn't have to pay for internet on top of that. My other issue is the luggage cart/wheelchair ramp...this is a BIG issue for handicapped persons as the ramp is so full of unlevel area its almost not usable. One has to lift the front of the WC or luggage cart to get over the bumps.

The staff is always extremely courteous and helpful, the rooms are always comfortable, clean, well appointed, and in this last stay, newly remodeled and gorgeous. The lobby bar has great ambiance and food. I only wish we'd had more time to enjoy everything - just there for one night this time. Highly recommend.

Upon arrival we were told the water to the hotel was going to be shut off between 10am and 4pm the next day. We had booked services at the spa for that next morning so we weren’t checking out till 12pm. We were unable to shower or clean up in the room afterwards. If we had known, we would’ve booked somewhere else.

The atmosphere is really beautiful. The room was clean and updated. When we went to order room service Saturday afternoon there was no room service available. Then when we went to eat the breakfast buffet Sunday morning the service was really lacking. I had to hunt down people for service and to get our check. It used to not be that way. I don’t know that we will be back.
