Well Check in was super easy, room was clean and staff was friendly. The one and biggest issue was our 26 ft Uhaul with a trailer on back was stolen from Parking lot. We asked if they had video of parking lot and they have cameras but not video and they have no one watch cameras at night. Our whole lives were in that truck and trailer

The inside of the hotel is in need of refurbishment: duct tape was holding the carpet down at the elevator exit, the vinyl on the ottoman in our room was cracking, the paint in the bathroom and by the elevator was chipped/marred, the ice machine on the 4th floor was out of order. Despite making a reservation for two people, we were provided one bath towel. Housekeeping service was not offer or received (which we did not discovered until returning in the evening when it was too late). The back parking lot was littered with cigarette butts and bottle caps. On the plus side: the host who greeted us was friendly and helpful, the pool heater was working and the spa was functioning. Both were adequately clean. We did not partake, but breakfast was other food was available for purchase.

I don’t often post reviews . This Holiday Inn and every part of their staff were exceptional . I red a few reviews that were so negative (one about the beds being as hard as a rock!) well I’m happy did not let those reviews stop me from booking this hotel . Great location , safe , clean , quiet , close to amazing restaurant , good bar , able to watch football and a fun lil happy hour . Next time I’m in Garland , this is the place I will stay from now on 😊👍

2 Complaints during an excellent stay
The 2 complaints I have are: bed was horrible so I woke up with neck and back pain. #2: the bar stools look terrible. They need reupholster.
