I had to bring my cat and dog on this trip and I found the individual Cat & Dog treat bags a very nice touch. Especially as the next day we stayed at a 5-star hotel and there was nothing like that. The room was quiet, clean and well organized. The Sandman Hotel Cranbrook will be where I stay when I am next in that area : )

Decent dog friendly hotel however located right next to rail line that has trains going by at all hours of the night. Pool was out of service and full of green gunge.

There isnt much unique about a dated property. On the plus side, the room was comfortable and clean. Staff were pleasant. On the less plus, just meh. Limited room amenities, older facility that is clearly getting to the point of needing some love. A decent coffee maker in the room versus the crummy 1970's drip-o-lator would make me feel better about shelling out a premium rate for the room.

Not until after I checked in was I told maid service was every second day. The pool was not in service and the room was very dated. They really need to renovate the rooms. For the price I will not be staying there again.

Check in was good and the room was clean. The bed was very comfy and there wasn't much in the way of street noise. Would stay here again.

Using the microwave flipped the breaker on eveything. Turned off tv fridge and microwave obviously. Bathroom was so small the door hit the toilet and was uncomfortable to use being so close to the wall

I didn't enjoy my stay. The price isn't fair for what I got. I could have stayed at Super 8 for 1/ 2 the cost. The bathroom fan was about to blow up, it was disgustingly loud. I booked the Sandman to use the pool, which wasn't even open. The latch lock was busted half off rendering it useless. I feel like I have been hosed with the cost. I am not a happy customer whatsoever.
