CLEAN BED PROMISE
-Padre Escapes promises to launder every comforter, every sheet, every TIME!
-After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID.
-DOG FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO DOGS/ WEIGHT RESTRICTION OF 25LBS OR LESS AND CAN NOT EXCEED 20" IN HEIGHT. There is a $100 per pet fee for all stays 7 days or less, $200 for stays of 8-29 days and $300 for stays of 30 days or greater. In addition there is also a pet-cleaning fee of $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $7 5 for stays of 8-29 days and $100 for stays of 30+ days.

Las ventilas de los filtros muy sucios, los ventiladores sucios, los cojines del balcón muy sucios, los vasos y tazas los tuvimos que volver a lavar. Y pues para lo que se cobra por limpieza falta mucho por ofrecer. Muy contentos con la estancia y la atención del personal de Mantenimiento ya que nadie hablaba español y el me apoyó en todo momento. Volveremos para ver el cambio.

Family summer trip
This is our families get away spot for Corpus Christi. The Palm Bay is absolutely the best place for the value. All the rooms are similar so no matter where you stay they are great. Super clean and managed very well with security you can count on. There’s a gorgeous pool and kiddy pool are and the adult side of the pool has a grotto which is awesome! Last but not least it’s literally across the street from the beach so it’s sooooooo convenient. This is our 5th time staying and I don’t see us ever switching!

AC issues and Mold
We arrived a little early and called to see if we could enter. They told us the inspector was there and would be finished soon so we waited until 4pm. We called back to find out that there was actually a maintenance person repairing something in the condo. We found out that the AC had gone out for the prior tenants and window units had been installed. They had "fixed" the ac and were taking out the window units. We were not able to get access to the condo until 4:15pm. When we finally entered, we immediately smelled mold. We looked around and noticed that the air vents were full of mold. We took extensive pictures and sent them to the property manager. I'm extremely allergic to mold and started having issues with my eyes burning and then respiratory issues. There was no way we could stay there seeing as the mold was coming out of the air ducts... The property manager offered to have someone clean the vents, we explained that would not fix the problem and that we needed to find another place to stay. At this point, we were already out of the condo. They called us back to tell us we were going to be refunded. We ended up at a hotel that was much nicer and cleaner. I wish we could post photos...the mold was outrageous. I sure hope they remediated the mold after we left and didn't just wipe down the vents...

Disappointing vacation condo
After our first VRBO unit was cancelled by the owner via text message on Monday July 26 at 3:30 a.m. during the first 24 hours after making the reservation without giving us a reason why, the Vrbo representative sent recommendations for similar condominiums in the same requested area and Palm Bay Village was on that list. VRBO organization and Padres escapes management rented unit 703 to us without notifying us that the central air conditioning unit was broken. I drove by the location on Monday afternoon and noticed the condo had window AC units installed as a temporary fix.I immediately called Padres escapes management to ask about the status of this unit. We were assured that the unit was staying cool and was scheduled to be worked on the Friday after we left. Since we were returning to the area for a family emergency and we had such short notice we had no choice but to keep our reservation. I was surprised that no compensation was being offered since the condo was not in the proper condition as advertised. The window units were both extremely loud all day and night and affected the security of the windows that they were installed in. The floor was swept but not mopped. The cooking utensils and silverware were dirty with fingerprints. The only area rug was extremely filthy with stains. The recliner was broken down and had a spring that poked you in your buttocks. The outdoor furniture on the porch was not cleaned off for the next guests and had seen better days. Overall, the unit was dark, needed more lighting and living area needs to be updated. The owner even had the nerve to have Padres escapes management call us on Thursday, our last day, to see if they could have a crew come and repair the AC unit while we were there instead of waiting until Friday when the condo wasn't being rented. I have used VRBO for at least 10 years now to select our vacation condominium s and have been very pleased. I am completely shocked by our back to back disappointing experiences these past 2 weeks at both Palm Bay Village and Beach Club Condominiums. I thought VRBO and Padres escapes management had higher expectations and requirements from their clients that they represent. I feel the descriptions of these 2 condos being advertised and the actual conditions of them are very misleading to consumers. I would like to be able to trust both institutions again for future planning.

Nice...but...
It has a nice little porch and the pool was nice! The size of the condo was perfect. Overall really good but the toilet had a lot of mildew. I tried cleaning it but it was really gross. There are only 4 pillows so be sure to bring extra pillows (and the pillows that were there were stained). The bathroom hot water faucet was really hard to turn. The air vents needed to be cleaned. But again, despite those few things the condo is really good.
