THIS PROPERTY IS IN NEED A RENOVATION ASAP!!!! THE CARPET IS OLDER THAN ME. I WAS TOTALLY SHOCKED AND GROSSED OUT. THE SHOWER HANDLE WAS HANGING FROM THE WALL AND THEY HAD THE NERVE TO GIVE OUT PRINTED INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO USE THE OLD PLUMBING FIXTURE. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AND FRANKLY I WANT ME MONEY BACK.

A Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvemen
Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by how clean it was, and the use of Dove products in the bathroom was a lovely bonus! While the check-in process was smooth, I must mention that the lady at the front desk could have been a bit more cheerful. Nevertheless, the transaction proceeded without any issues, which is always appreciated in hospitality. One aspect that caught me off guard was the parking situation. I noticed that a pass was required, and I was warned about the risk of being towed if it wasn't displayed. This would have posed a significant concern had I had company staying over and their vehicle was towed. It’s worth noting that future guests should be cautious of this. Despite this minor setback, my stay was enjoyable, and I found the atmosphere comfortable and relaxing. I would certainly choose to stay here again on my next visit. I highly recommend it!

Good, but a little to be desired
The hotel was clean. The room was smaller than I expected for a double bed room. The shower curtain rod had been "repaired" but we weren't able to actually spread the shower curtain so water got everywhere. The hotel is in a good area and had plenty of parking to accommodate.

Overall the stay was enjoyable. It is "fairly" close to the Metro, but their shuttle does not have very long hours, so we had to walk to the Metro several times and had to drag our suitcases with us when we arrived. Their included continental breakfast was ok - the last day everything was warm. The other days barely warm and they ran out of items before the breakfast time was over. The bathtub faucet in the room was very hard to turn on and off, and the water pressure in the sink faucet was low. The sleeper sofa in the room was not very comfortable. On the bright side, it was clean and all of the employees were friendly and helpful. I would not mind staying again some other time.

The sound proofing of the rooms was poor. It was noisy in the hallway outside which is why we couldn't sleep properly. The bathroom curtain was torn at places and the knob of the bathroom was partially broken. Even the telephone inside the room wasn't working. The staff weren't friendly at all. The breakfast was below average. Overall, it was a terrible experience which negatively affected our trip. Thankfully, the stay was only for one night. I am never trying Holiday Inn again!

I called for early check-in. I was told very rudely that it was a no then when I get there at 3:45 they put me in a room that was not ready. Then they changed me to another room in the maid was still cleaning it this time it was past 4 o’clock.
