The property seems to have become a bit of a white elephant. The staff are friendly, it is generally clean but very tired looking with overgrown and weed filled gardens. We felt the target market is now budget conscious families but we lived in Coffs Harbour when Opal Cove was the creme de la creme.

Great property

An overnight stay on our way to the Gold Coast. Very comfortable hotel with a great pool. Restaurant was also great. The service was excellent.

Booked a queen resort room and ended up with a double The room was extremely dated and not cleaned very well, air con is either at arctic blast or non existent as you cannot change the temp to suit The grounds were half mowed and messy and pool has seen better days We had dinner in the restaurant and it was below par for resort dining, the pub style menu was pretty disappointing. I had the steak and at best it was woollies porterhouse there was no sauce and it was accompanied by two pieces of broccolini and a dry rosti Overall very disappointing stay
