Amazing Service
Motel host was amazing. We were late arriving and he had left the room key out for us. When leaving the following motel he took the time to come and chat Motel is in great condition was clean and tidy but did have a few wee things broken eg light switch in bathroom and wires exposed on the electric blanket.

There were things that i have found not available in other motels. Plenty of towels and dish towels. A wash cloth for doing dishes and cleaning the bench. Handi towels. Tissues. All in all good service. Thanks will come again.

Great stay at Amross. Vincent in Reception was extremely kind to me as my husband was in the nearby hospital for surgery. The one-bedroom family room was spacious, warm and had all the amenities I needed.

Good price and location not too far from Christchurch botanical gardens and nice restaurants (30 min walk). Cheerful owner. Facilities were "meh." Terrible washing machines and dryers!

NZ from SC tour
2 night stay in Christchurch area. Lodge was well located for walking to the downtown area and provided easy access out of the city when going to rural attractions in Akaroa. Clean, safe and spacious. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! We had just a few days in Christchurch & couldn’t be happier with the comfort of our room. It was very clean, cozy, well stocked, and perfect for what we needed. It was close to restaurants, venues, and parks we walked everywhere. This is definitely the place to stay!

Stayed at this property for Electric Avenue festival. Is it very close to Hagley park (a few minutes walk). The first thing we noticed when walking into the room was how clean the place was. The people who run the motel are very friendly and up for a chat, the lady even walked us to our room to show us where it was! never had service like that before. We asked if we could do a slightly later check out for a fee, which they happily agreed too as well.
