The property was nice overall, but 84 USD for valet, I expected exceptional service. Location was great and walkable to many main attractions. The bathroom was nice and had a tub. The beds were not great and only offered a heavy comforter. I was on and off sweating all night even with air conditioning on cold.

We had a great time staying here -- 7 nights for the marathon. We were in a king room on the top (32nd) floor facing East. The room was small, but clean. Great views of the lake to the North and East. The service was a bit slow when asking for things like more waters or pillows, but it's a quality establishment. The food at the restaurant was great and the bar was good. For the price, you'd think the rooms would have a top sheet on the bed and some higher quality toilet paper. Compared to other hotels that some of our friends were staying in, this one seemed like a better option than most.

Easily the most professionally run hotel I have ever been in, including those that are much more expensive. Everyone there is very well trained, friendly, and professional. We had a lovely time in our corner suite, well worth the upgrade!

Nice hotel, poor attention to detail.
The hotel itself is quite nice, but the attention to detail was disappointing. I booked in August to come watch friends run the Marathon. A month ago, two friends wanted to join so we decided to share the room to save a bit, since the prices are quite high for this particular weekend. I emailed and asked that the two names be added to the reservation, and was told that had been done. The day before my stay, I was emailed and asked to confirm my personal info and driver's license info to expedite my check in. Fine. I arrive, and... I have to go over all of that info again with the front desk. Kind of annoying, but ok. The room itself was nice, but there was one bath robe and two towels. Annoying, considering I had confirmed multiple guests would be here a month ago. With the exorbitant prices, this was super disappointing. I guess these things aren't noted down, or staff don't communicate. And finally, the "resort fee"... It is a junk fee. No, I do not want to pay $25/day for Wifi and a newspaper, neither of which I will use. Kind of embarrassing for a hotel claiming to be 4*. Still haven't received my final bill, over 24 hours after checking out. Super odd for any hotel, 4* or otherwise. It was a nice hotel, and the staff members I spoke to were very nice, but I see no reason to rebook the next time I'm in Chicago.
