Let me start with the staff. They were excellent. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. I liked the room, but there were a couple of issues. --The couch had large stains on the cushions. I honestly didn't feel comfortable sitting on it. --The bed is FIRM. If you like that then this is the place for you. I ended up laying on pillows to help. --Before making my reservation I called to make sure they have room service. They said yes. Upon my arrival I found out they do not. You have to go downstairs to get your food if you order it. Not a deal breaker, but wasn't what I was told.

Weekend football game
Was in town for the weekend for Ohio state vs northwestern game at wrigley field. Stay was great, room was clean breakfast was great and had a late dinner, pizza and wings thats was good as well. One suggestion is valet parking!

Hyatt place is right in the prime Chicago metropolitan center within walking distance to key places like the Willis tower, the bean, London house and the Chicago River. Great overall service, sanitary rooms and great amenities. I highly recommend

Very convenient location in downtown Chicago! I dislike that there were few amenities in the room (MICROWAVE) & I think it’s crazy that breakfast isn’t complimentary considering you already paying for your stay.. but nice hotel, great location!
