Our stay was just ok. We’ve stayed before because of the convenience to the park but I wasn’t too happy with this stay. I had 2 rooms and specifically asked for our rooms to be close together or at least on the same floor, that didn’t happen. My understanding was it wouldn’t be a problem to do so. Trash behind the beds. Definitely not enough electrical outlets to charge our phones etc.. Air/Heater unit was extremely loud. Most likely I’ll choose a different hotel on our next trip.

There were great stores, restaurants and ice cream shops very close by the hotel. The banquet facilities and staff were great. It must be a popular hotel because it is apparent that they don’t have sufficient time to repair damage to the rooms or do deep cleaning before they are booked again. In our bathroom we found dirty towels and clothing from the previous guest. But the staff had really great attitudes and worked quickly to correct things.

I stayed two nights due to the hotels proximity to Six Flags Great America. The location is convenient for not only the theme park, but also other dining and shopping. The hotel is showing its age and the room wasn't as clean as I'd prefer, but it was acceptable. The free breakfast options were more limited than comparable hotels. Beds were comfortable if a little firm. Overall not bad at the price point.

This Hampton is very old and dated. It badly needs a refurbish. Not up to the standards I expected from a Hampton. Couch was stained and carpet was old. Very disappointing
