The APA hotel is very convenient to the Makuhari convention center, literally just a 3 minute walk on a covered overpass - so if you're here for a conference, it's a good choice. It tries to be a 'one size fits all' hotel, with a wide array of amenities, but I think it loses some focus because of it, and there are some details that I wish they would pay more attention to.

A Dingy Old Property
The entire hotel needs a good scrubbing and refit. Unfortunately, I got stuck with a smoking room on a smoking floor and it was absolutely disgusting. Who puts carpeting on the walls which just absorbs the smell. Everything was covered in grime; everything from the walls to the floors. I was truly amazed by Japanese standards how poor this property looked.

Amazing view if you get a high room with a view . I did and loves it .. a bit of a trip into tokyo but other the that its a beautiful area with lots of shopping and food nearby. Nice size bathrooms and tv is actually decent if your not great in japanese. It has english or english dub for a fe movies and its free . You have access to a lot of amenities , restaurants and conbinis are located in the hotel . Great place to stay if you sont mind a bit of a trek into tokyo
