Mold in bathroom and smell of cigarettes. Went to bar for a drink and snack. Asked for three Things and they didn’t have any of it.. Front desk employees were super friendly. House keeping smelled of weed.

Safety
As a senior woman traveling alone, safety is a high priority. The entry door for my section was being the building and was supposed to enter only with a code. Code not much use when the door hinge was broken, permanently ajar! The door stop on my unit door wouldn’t move so I relied on the flimsy dead bolt latch. The shower was wonderful but couldn’t help scene from “Psycho” dashing thru my head!

The rooms were supposed to be smoke free but as you walked in the hall it smelled like cigarettes and weed. The carpet was dirty and the room was not worth the price. The rooms are ran down and needs updated. It had a motel vibe instead of a hotel. We were never told when breakfast was and upon checkout, the employees were out front smoking. We had to wait a few for one to come back in.

Very Unpleasant
Stained carpet and chair. bed had been made but when I pulled back the sheets, they were blood spotted and it was obvious it had been slept in. Manager encouraged me to check another room to see if "it meets your standards." The other room had the same stained carpet and chair, and the door didn't latch, but the sheets appeared clean.

It was a middle of the line in the way of hotels I've stayed in. Definitely an older property. Cleanliness was si so. The bed was standard in comparison. Overall a good overnight stop.

I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly, affordable, and had decent reviews. Unfortunately, my room smelled of mildew. I wiped everything down with Clorox wipes and febreeze to help, but the air vents were terribly dusty. I can overlook a lot, but there was a bed bug in my bed. I stripped the bed down and gown reddish-brown streaks, consistent with bed bugs. I packed up my belongings and went to the front desk immediately. The clerk was kind, but not concerned or surprised enough to assure me this isn’t a recurring issue. I’m currently waiting for a refund. I was able to find other accommodations for the evening, but it was obviously inconvenient at 10 pm. I would avoid this place like the plague.

One of the staff found our grandmothers wallet and didn’t turn it in. Manager wasn’t very helpful had to ask multiple times for him to watch the video. Manager did watch video and could tell us what everyone was wearing and how much money she took out of her wallet but said the video got grainy after that. In other words we seen what happened with the guest but can’t see what happen with staff. She’s 84 and all she wanted to do was watch her grandson graduate from the police academy. Wouldn’t recommend this place
