First visit. The hotel is remarkable. The room had all the amenities and very comfortable bed. Loved the restaurant. Very friendly staff. The hotel is like twenty minutes walking from everything.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location- literally across the street from City Market and one block from King Street. The courtyard was lovely and a treat to sit in and relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The only downside, and this hotel is like all of the others in the area, is the charge for parking. I'm old enough to remember when parking was included with a hotel stay.

We had an excellent stay at the Planters Inn. The staff was excellent. We came from Asheville after Helene and we got a warm welcome, including Prosecco and delicious coconut cake. The location is great and the rooms are nice and comfy.

Pros: location!!!! Nicely appointed room (piazza) Cons: loud street noise (esp Saturday night!), loud outdoor furniture moving right outside our door while sleeping, and every time the a/c turned on or off, it would suck the door a bit so it sounds like someone is entering your room which was unnerving!

We loved the location, that was the best part. Super convenient to everything, we only got in the car when it was time to leave! The hotel lobby was nice, but we've seen much nicer in hotels that cost a lot less. The rooms didn't look that special to us either. I guess we were expecting a lot more because of the exceptional ratings left by previous guest. For a boutique hotel, I thought the staff would at least TRY to remember our names.
