Originally built in 1820, this magnificent home was taken all the way down to its studs in an extensive renovation in order to expose its rich history while providing modern day luxuries. You wont find another house quite like this to make your Charleston trip the best it can be!

This is a classic Charleston home made up of two units A&B, this is the listing for Unit B (Upstairs unit). The entire unit is yours, so there are no shared spaces except for the driveway area. During the remodel we went to great lengths (open cell spray foam, 1 inch quiet sheetrock and vibration barrier) to ensure the house stays very quiet from one unit to the other so this is not your typical duplex!

Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Great place, tight parking
Good value here. Location is good and safe. Great bar next door called BTW and also a bodega on the same block. Book it. You won’t be disappointed. The smaller the car the better.

Very cool spot!
Look no further if you’re looking for a short walk to downtown Charleston! This location was perfect with plenty to do and see in the area. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Great location and decor!
Perfect location for our first time in Charleston. Walkable to a lot of bars/restaurants/shops and a short drive away from everything else. Amazing to have parking on premises, made it much easier to get out and explore vs. a hotel/valet. Loved the decor inside, very comfortable space to relax in.

Awesome Stay
I visited Charleston with a group of friends for a birthday trip, and this was the perfect spot to stay. The unit had plenty of beds that were all very comfortable. The entire place was stylish and clean. We loved the contrast of the modern decor with the historic architecture. The place is located in a super walkable area of town. There was a nice bakery/coffee place right around the corner and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Good location to see Charleston as well as easy to drive to see other areas outside of downtown. House very nice, lots of space for the four in our family, and could have easily had space for 3 more people.. Beds comfy, great pillows!

We had a great two night stay at this stylish space that is just seconds from all the nightlife on King street and an easy stroll from great shopping and dining. Well appointed and David was terrific to deal with and very organized. Cool spot!

This place is amazing!!! Everything you could need or want was there! It was super clean, decorated very cute and cozy and super convenient to everywhere in Charleston. Stellar Property
Had a great time at this Spring Street location with our 3 year old and our parents. It's in a great spot. A few blocks from North King Street where you'll find some awesome restaurants etc. Great tapas place two blocks east. Home was equipped with everything you need. The porch is awesome when the temperature drops a little bit and you can sit out there and have coffee. David was super responsive to any questions/concerns. All in all a great property I would definitely stay there again.

Stylish place in a good location
The apartment was beautiful and very well-designed, with a spacious inside and a porch area as an added bonus. The self check-in process was easy, and the place was very clean. It's walking distance to many great restaurants and shops, including several on the same street or just around the corner. There were a couple of odd things. The two bedrooms that shared a bathroom did not have any mirrors or dresser/vanity type areas in the rooms themselves, just in the shared bathroom. The a/c also kept resetting itself to 78-80 degrees at random times. We unfortunately had some noise issues from the busy street, nearby construction going late into the night, and a loud group downstairs. However, David was responsive and helpful, and there were white noise machines provided in the rooms which was a nice touch. Overall a very high-quality, fun, and well-located place to stay.
