After a hellacious day of travel, we finally made it to Hotel Emeline and were warmly welcomed by the incredible staff. It was decorated so beautifully for the holidays and the rooms were clean, cozy, and well curated. Great location, great bar downstairs. Will stay here again and again when we come back to visit family!

I really enjoyed the many different areas to hang out and the theme of the hotel. The fresh fruit each day really fit the right spot. I also love its location I could walk everywhere. However, there were quite a few things broken that need maintenance.

The staff was warm and friendly. The only issue I had was that there was not an iron or ironing board in the room. When I called housekeeping they brought one right away however the iron was of poor quality. A very minor issue to an otherwise great property. I will stay there again.

This place was AMAZING. Location, amenities and service were all perfect for us. Within walking distance to some of the best food and activity in Charleston! Can't wait to come back!

Great location. Restaurants good and reasonable. The mattress in our first room was really bad , however, they moved us to a different room and it was great. Could not get a continuous fan setting on HVAC which was not ideal for us.

Better options in Charleston
The good:location and very helpful front desk staff. The hotel is very nicely appointed. Complimentary coffee in the am (no coffee pot in room) Nevertheless at over $400 per night we had a 1st floor room facing a street and wall. At night the light from the street lamps came into the room from the top of the curtains. There was constant activity in the lobby and had to navigate through crowds to exi the hotel. Could not get near the bar on any of the 3 nights we stayed. Also after a long day of travel could not get into the hotel restaurant until late as it was booked with reservations. bathroom was nice, linens and pillows good but mattress was lumpy.
