Summary:
This welcoming rental offers visitors convenient access to all the city has to offer. Located on the 1st floor of a historic Charleston single home built in the late 1800s, the rental overlooks candy-colored historic homes that dot the neighborhood & provides a true Charleston experience for guests. Walkable to MUSC, CofC, King Street’s most popular retail and restaurants, & more.
The Space:
The building has been fully renovated and was completed in spring 2017. Measuring just under 500 square feet, the apartment offers one bedroom featuring premium bedding and a full bathroom with shower. Thoughtful care has been put into crafting a clean and efficient space that offers all of the amenities of a boutique hotel (bath products, high-end towels and linens, hair dryers, iron, wi-fi, premium TV channels, etc.) with the added convenience of a full, chef-ready kitchen, washer/dryer, and a classic Charleston single-style porch for enjoying the nearly year-round comfortable temperatures Charleston offers its visitors.
Guest Access:
Off-street parking for one car is provided free of charge. Any additional parking is $20 a day per car.
The Neighborhood:
Visitors can indulge in the city’s most charming bakery – Sugar Bakeshop - located just across the street from the rental or shop for tailored menswear at Indigo & Cotton located three doors down, and peruse the selection of handmade bags and leather goods at J. Stark, just down the block.
Getting Around:
The location is ideally suited for walking, but Uber and Lyft are also readily available.
Other Things to Note:
We are three blocks from King Street. Cannon Street dead ends into King where you would be right in the middle of all the activity - many nice restaurants such as The Darling, the Grocery, Ordinary, Endaco, good places to have drinks like Stars, the Belmont, Midtown, Prohibition. There are also great niche restaurants closer than King Street. Pick the experience - fine dining to relaxed outdoor dining, it is here. You could look up Hominy Grill, Chez Nous, Trattoria Lucca, Fuel, Goulette. Since Cannon Street (and Spring Street) are the only legal areas in the city to host short term rentals in Charleston, you will be in good company here.
Interaction with Guests:
We are available for questions and we're glad to assist in any way we can.
