The only Negative I have is those stairs Lord have mercy. They will make a man or a woman out of you. Other than that, this was one of the best hotels I stayed at. The staff was excellent. The location is perfect. Just make sure they have your taxi driver scheduled for any transfers because there was a hiccup coming into town my taxi driver I don’t know what happened to him, but regardless, I was still able to enjoy my stay

The only place to stay in Chania, Crete.
Totally perfect except there was no kettle, we don’t like coffee. Breakfast was great, staff were great and the view exceptional.

The bedroom was large and felt very comfortable with high ceilings, although we didnt have views of the water we had views of the cobble stone street which was pretty also. The windows are sensored so when you open them the air-conditioning turns off. I wouldnt recommend staying here if you plan on hiring a car as parking would be difficult or if you found it hard to walk as there is no lift access and getting bags up and down the stairs is difficult especially if you opt for the higher level. Staff were accommodating and friendly, one of them offered to assist in carrying one of our bags up the stairs.

Great!!
The hotel itself is so cute and the bed is SO comfortable. Our room was on the non-port side so it was quiet but I imagine it could be noisy if you have a waterfront view. No elevator but our room was on the first floor so that didn’t bother us! Luggage storage was convenient. Breakfast was supplied. We would stay again! The staff were friendly well. Location was great for access to the port. Insider tip: If you are going to use the bus station, keep in mind that it is hilly and you will be carrying luggage for about 10 mins up and down hills.

Great breakfast choice, staff were very helpful and friendly, very clean. Especially loved the 'towel dog' wearing sunglasses (my ones! :)) which greeted us when we returned to the room after breakfast, talented and lovely cleaner. Would return to Chania and the hotel.

Absolutely beautiful room. (We stayed in the King). Lots of space and amazing location. Jacuzzi in the room was a bonus. Hotel need to explain how to turn off (just drain water) and not to worry about noise at end as it is just pipes clearing!

Good location but not if you have luggage!
The hotel is in the beautiful port area, however it does not have views. It is in a pedestrian street, about a ten minute walk from the nearest road. So if you have luggage, you will have to walk at least 10 minutes from the closest vehicle drop off. On top of that, the property has huge stairs between each floor, no elevator. And no bellman or help. It was exhausting to take our luggage up to the second floor and there are three floors! Once you get to the room, it is a great size and very clean and comfortable. However, it is very frugal with amenities like coffee. They left only 2 K-pods and cleaning lady did not refill. When we asked coffee for next day, we were told they only provide for the first day. No toiletries either, we ran out of soap and I had to go and purchase. And the air conditioning never worked. We complained and it was not fixed. Seems they turn it off. This is not acceptable on a hotel that you paid a good amount of money to stay in and that advertises it has a/c. Breakfast was very good. In general, I found the hotel to not be a good value for what you pay for.
