Lifts can be annoying as you feel like you are waiting forever and when the doors open it full, this goes on and on in the mornings and it irritated the life out of me.
Also the shower, it was just fixed and unable to remove it from the wall, hence not being able to rinse soap off with ease..

Bar lacks ambuence byt a decent enough meeting area before heading out.
Great stay. Close to Cardiff Central and walking distance to shops and restaurants. New hotel and vary quiet, hardly knew there were other guests. Very quick electronic check in and out.
This is my go to hotel for trips to Cardiff. The location is superb - right by the train station and all the shops and bars etc
Always clean and the staff are fantastic
Overall the stay was great for one night and no complaints. I had an issue with the TV (user error not the TV and reception came up and sorted it is two minutes)
My only small issue is there was a very ominous stain on the carpet between the beds, and I tend to walk around the room with no shoes on, also the throw at the bottom of the bed seemed slightly due for a refresh.
Small issues and the only thing worth mentioning but great hotel, great location to the train station (although I drove), great proximity to restaurants, and friendly staff

No parking but Cardiff train station car park is a 2 min walk away and very reasonable compared to other car parks in Cardiff!

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Not the best experience.
The lifts were temperamental in that you would select floor 8 in our case and it would take you somewhere else. This happened several times and we had to use the emergency stairs.
The breakfast items were not well cooked. The bacon was almost boiled. Overall the service looked understaffed amd quality of food was lacking.
The room felt very cramped and the bed was not the most comfortable.
We had to wait for almost an hour for toilet roll that never arrived. The reason for this was the staff were very busy.
