Apart from the little cosmetic faults of the room I had stayed in, everything was relatively clean, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, there was next to no noise from neighbouring rooms, or the busy road right outside. Having the food from the Atrium was delicious, though due to the price, I may not eat there again. The option for 24 hour room service was not used by me, but very convenient in the instance if I needed something to eat throughout the night. All in all, if I return to visit Canberra again, I will be staying here.

All good here.
The place was great, sure it might be a bit tired, but the place was clean, th bed comfortable, water pressure great. Free car parking. Has bar and restaurant.

The property is really well maintained and the inside is immaculate and the bar lounge dining area under the big The type circus top is really inviting with all the greenery around rooms are accessible as an elevator therefore upstairs so you don’t have to lug you luggage upstairs the rooms are well appointed And the staff are really good and parking is safe and secure

Very pleasant and convenient
Clean, comfortable room - although a friend noted worn carpets, so perhaps not all rooms are of the same standard. Very pleasant atrium for coffee or dining. About 5 mins walk to tram to city. Secure parking at rear but may be a long way from hotel entrances. Be wary of trees dropping filmy substance on cars in some parts.

Comfortable and clean but be aware
This hotel has seen better days but it is well maintained and clean, and perfect for an overnight stay. Service at the front was great. However when we went for a long breakfast we found our room door wide open on our return. We were 100% we had shut our room door. Nothing seemed to be stolen but our passports, other credentials and credit and debit cards were casually left in the room. (Do not recall there being a safe in the room). We reported this to the front desk. We are hoping this incident was due to the cleaners being a bit too keen to clean our room. We are now monitoring our credit and debit card accounts for any fraudulent activity as details of our cards could have been noted. Security is an issue and could be improved! For this reason we have given a 2 star overall rating.

We did have a good experience with our stay. Especially the lovely greeny in side. Which is relaxing for us. And to enjoy a quiet time together to have a talk and to enjoy our snack after we checked in. The restaurant staff was also helpful with our afternoon snack. The breakfast buffet was also just lovely with a good selection to select from.

Nice room, free parking and tram. Good breakfast.
A very nice hotel, with a nice atrium-like character. The breakfast was good value for money, the bar was pleasant. The room was clean and large, a little bit dated in style but comfortable. The secure free parking was appreciated, as was the location on the tram track making access to central Canberra very easy.

The thing that strikes me is the cleanliness which somewhat makes up for the fact that the furniture and decor in the rooms need updating ….. reflected in the price. The buffet breakfast was very good.

Great location, secure parking, good restaurant for evening meal and lovely buffet breakfast. Being an older property there weren’t any USB ports, and mattress was bit saggy on one side. Recommend for short stay in Canberra.

From check in through to check out, the staff at The Pavilion made us feel like welcomed and valued guests. The room was lovely, spacious, modern and comfortable. The food from the restaurant was delicious and served very quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
