After a long day driving I arrived late around 9:00 pm planning to get on the road early the next morning. After unloading the car, I went to use the washroom and found that it hadn't been cleaned from the previous customer. A bar of soap was unwrapped on the sink with the wrapper beside, used face cloth on counter and a used glass was sitting on the sink, counter not wiped. Talked to front desk, and they sent somebody to clean it while I went in search of food. When I returned Desk said bathroom had been cleaned, but when I went up to room all they did was replace soap and remove wrapper and facecloth. The dirty glass was still on the counter and the sink/counter was not wiped. Toothpaste on faucet and basin dirty. When I asked a second time to have it cleaned the front desk was starting to push back a bit saying it had been cleaned. I showed photographs and they finally sent somebody up after 10:30. When he came to the door he had a clean wine glass, I had not requested that, and a towel with out any cleaning solutions or disinfectants. I showed him how it was when I arrived. So he went away for about 15 mins to get cleaning supplies, then returned and was cleaning the bathroom at 10:45 all while I was waiting to get to bed as I checked out at about 7:15 the next morning for another long drive with less sleep than I would have liked. Otherwise, the property was nice and the location was excellent on the highway toward Banff for an early getaway in the morning.

The property was run down, room smelled bad, bath tub didn’t drain and AC wasn’t working. Maintenance unblocked bath tub and made AC quieter but the room still didn’t ever cool off. Positives were that there was easy access to Hwy1 west and Banff National Park and the staff was generally friendly. Highly recommend food hall at nearby Calgary Farmer’s Market.

We had to wait awhile for our room to be ready & the carpet in our room was very sticky & musty smell & air con was loud. Otherwise a reasonable place to stay with Denny’s & Bar one attached with lots of other eating places nearby & good access to the highway to the Rockies

This hotel was perfect for our day trip to Calaway park. It was clean and quiet with friendly staff. Lots of fast food options in walking distance of the hotel, and a Denny’s right downstairs. Our kids also had fun in the pool, although it’s pretty basic. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

I have stayed twice at this location and it was a friendly and memorable visit both the times. Front desk was very helpful, the location is very convenient to drive to highway and rooms were very clean.
