I recently booked a two-night stay at [Hotel Name] for myself and my elderly mother (92 years old) and, unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.
Room Condition:
The room we were assigned was noticeably worn out, with the bathroom in particular being subpar in terms of cleanliness. It is evident that the interiors are in urgent need of a refresh, as the overall condition did not reflect the standards one would expect from a hotel of this reputation.
Noise and Disruptions:
To add to our discomfort, the room was located directly next to the lifts, which caused constant noise disturbances. Moreover, ongoing repairs within the hotel, starting early in the morning and continuing late into the evening, made it nearly impossible to rest or relax. Unfortunately, despite bringing this to the attention of staff, no alternative rooms were available.
Customer Service:
Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of our stay was the lack of communication and poor customer service. Staff were unresponsive and did little to accommodate or address our concerns. It was disheartening to feel that our comfort was not a priority during our stay.
Conclusion:
Given the combination of the worn-out room, continuous noise from repairs, and nonexistent customer service, I cannot recommend [Hotel Name]. The overall experience was frustrating and not worth the hassle, particularly for travelers seeking a comfortable and stress-free stay. Avoid this accommodation until improvements are made.
