The aircon is pretty poor, can’t put it below 20. Water pressure in the shower isn’t the greatest. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced stay in a pinch sure but I’d book elsewhere next time

Checking in & out was easy. Additional fee for secure parking. Was easy to find park & not have to worry about car safety. Rooms were nice, clean, spacious. Plenty of amenities for self-contained room. Within walking distance of Southbank parklands, museums, eateries, etc. not too far from city - 15 min walk or 5 min drive. Staff were lovely & helpful.

The location was fantastic. Very easy to walk to cafes, restaurants, Southbank, museum and QPAC. Buses and trains were also very easy to get to. IGA just around the corner. Although we really enjoyed the view from our apartment (it had a nice balcony), the apartment itself had quite a few issues. It was very worn (stained carpets/dirty walls) which in itself wouldn't have been a problem for us, but it needed a really good clean -the showers smelled, the baseboards were covered in dirt/dust and the light switches were filthy. We found someone else's laundry still hanging over one of the lights in the living area. Neither the air conditioning or the microwave worked properly. The dishwasher didn't clean the dishes -not sure if this was the machine or the poor detergent supplied. For the cost, we would have expected better as these things should be regularly checked and easily fixed.

Ivy and Eve Apartments is in a great location very close to the Southbank. However, our apartment had a number of issues on arrival; the balcony/terrace was flooded and there was no way to unblock it, the washing machine door would not shut so we couldn’t use it, and although the fridge lights and display were on the fridge and freezer were not chilling. To be fair to reception, they moved us to another apartment, although it was a bit smaller. All the amenities worked though, so that was a bonus! The apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a couple of nights. We were on the 21st floor too, so the views were fabulous!

Good location for south bank. Many restaurants coffee shops and bars nearby as well as train station and qpac 400m away. Room was clean (beds kitchen, bathroom and floors etc,)but some furniture items had stains and needed steam clean or replacement. Apartments are a little dated now but more than sufficent for a few nights.Small balcony with river as well as city views (atm but building in progress across the street will block a lot of the view). Friendly reception staff. Paid parking per day onsite. Overall, my second stay at the Ivy was good value comfortable and recommended.

Great spot if you want to be near Southbank, FishLane for great food options and good there was option for parking (at extra cost) Apartment was great size, nice amenities and awesome views but it does need a good spring clean (as in grout, exhaust fans full of dust, oven was dirty, carpets and chairs had stains) and also furniture needs to be checked as a lot of chairs had wobbly or broken legs and one of them had a screw poking out that scratched my son. In saying that it’s all an easy fix so we would still be back if the apartment had had a good clean etc Staff very friendly
