The building is a bit old and the furniture and fittings a bit old-fashioned, however it is well maintained. Red-bellied parrots were flying around the balcony. The place is quiet, a short walk to the places to eat.

A bit outdated furniture and carpet would need to be changed. But very clean with very good Fujitsu heating system and always hot water in a shower. Pity microwave is outside in a laundry.

The room was not serviced at all....we have stayed at this property many times over the last 20 years and it has always been serviced but not this time at all

Have been coming here for some years now- position is great but room need some attention. Bowl cracked, one wine glass, pillows definitely need an upgrade. Host was helpful when asked, but outdoor area not ready for visitors- chairs, tables needed a wipe down.

Tucked away in quiet Wood Street, this hotel is an easy walk to all of Bright’s main attractions such as the shops, restaurants, Howitt Park and the river. Good value for money - it’s a bit dated but is clean and has spacious rooms.
